RAID ON MAR-A-LAGO
Unprecedented FBI raid on Trump Florida compound sets off political firestorm
The FBI raid on President Trump's private residence has all the
trappings of a ruling regime using government power to crush its
political opposition. No wonder the action has been widely likened to
those of "banana republics." Would this have happened if Trump was a
reviled figure and Biden wildly popular? If Trump were to pass on
tomorrow there would likely be crying in "the streets." If Biden were to
pass a eulogy would likely come from dispassionate partisans and pundits
brokered perhaps to Hollywood producers for effect. Simply put: Trump is
loved by many, Biden is loved by no one. Ergo Trump looms as a constant
threat to Democrats, D.C. establishment and an entrenched bureaucracy
who seek any means to erode his popularity.
